More and more people seem to be withdrawing from nature. Mankind is evolving towards a more artificial way of life, partly determined by the rapid increase and evolution of digital technologies. Not only is he growing farther away from nature, he is also influencing it through that increasing artificial way of life.

With "Fragments", small fragments of nature are photographed digitally to reflect on today's digital society. Pixels are used as a metaphor for society in which the digital is taking over everything.
Nature is of great importance in the well-being of all life on Earth. As part of my master's research, she tried to question the place of nature in our digital age by exploring the boundaries between the natural and the artificial.
The aim of this project is to stimulate the viewer to think about the future of nature in the increasing digital age and how humans and nature can live and evolve together in the future.
